Concrete Step Repair Adhesive

Kyle used this to repair our concrete dining table after it took some damage during a move. It was effective both for patching cracks in the base and a chunk of the top that had crumbled as well. We opted for the kintsugi vibe and didn't paint the repaired area, but it finished smoothly with sanding and has withstood multiple relocations without cracking again. Drying time was a couple days to full hardness. Overall, easy to use and works great - this was a good buy.

This stuff works well to repair cementsteps bit you need to be patient andprep the area first. Remove any loseparts. Vacuum or blow out anydust/small rocks still in the area. When you mix you will get agrey like paste. Use a drywall tool tomix and the apply the mix to therepair areas. It works like putty andyou can mold it however you like. Ilet it dry for a day before I painted it.You can sand it or grind it down ifyou did not leave it smooth.

I love this products, this stuff is sorta tough to apply though, smears on like cake frosting, not very smooth, hard to get it to smooth out over a large area, a crack in cement would be easy, but i did a 1/4" skim coat over an entire step (see pic). I used two of the quart pails and had a bit left over, so coverage is impressive. Once dry it's like an incredibly hard thick paint, should last forever. Despite the claim, the color isn't like any concrete i've seen, it's bright light gray (see pic), I'm hoping it mellows out with age.

You can use this product right out of the container, even though it’s thick, to fill in deep cracks. I checked the cleanup instructions and it said that it cleans up with water. So after I used the thick cement to fill in the crack, I diluted some cement with a little water And smoothed it over the top of the patch and used a wide putty knife to finish it off. A week later, I did a second application of diluted cement. Today I used a cement paint that was gray and added a little brown and the finished product is in the second photo. The cement and paint are perfect as you can see. I will put a second coat of paint on it in the spring. So happy with the results. Looks professional to me.

It's a light gray color so it blends in pretty well with my garage floor.The consistency is thick but not overly so and not runny at all. Easy to spread. It says it starts to harden in about 5 minutes or so, so it leaves enough time to lay the bead, scrape the excess with a putty knife, then wipe the residual with a paper towel. It comes with a very long tip that can be used to get into tight spaces but it can only be used once. However if you remove the tip and replace the cap, you can still use the epoxy again later, just without the narrow tip. So far, seems to be effective, but it will take some time to see if it holds up under normal use. Good so far. I'm not an expert at this stuff but it was easy enough to use that I didn't end up making a mess.

The bond strength is excellent. It grabs quickly and cures into a solid, durable hold that feels just as reliable as traditional mortar, but without all the hassle. I used it on a mix of surfaces, and it adhered beautifully every time. It’s also great for tight or awkward spaces where mixing mortar would be a pain.
